How and when will I be billed?
We will charge your Credit or Debit card on File.
We charge the card After your lawn has been mowed on your scheduled mowing day.
A receipt will automatically be sent to the email we have on file with your account.
How do I skip a mowing service?
If you would like to skip a mowing service, our office will need to be notified by 1 pm, two business days before your scheduled service day. If your regular service day is Monday or Tuesday we must be notified by 1 pm on Friday.
And if the service is skipped we will have to charge the full lawn mowing price in order to save you a spot on our schedule it’s just that once our route is booked up on a crew we don’t take on new clients so we have to turn down new clients in order to save you a spot on our schedule this is due to the limited availability on our crew’s schedule and the high demand we have for new service.
Failure to Agree will result in cancellation of your mowing service.
Same Day Cancellation
If you cancel or skip service on your scheduled lawn mowing day or the crew is told not to mow the lawn, we will charge your card on file the full lawn mowing price due to the drive time the crew spent to drive to your lawn and to reserve you a spot on our schedule.
Failure to agree will result in cancellation of your mowing service.
How many mowings do I have to sign up for?
Weekly and Bi weekly clients must agree to sign up for a 6 mow minimum. Cancellation prior to the 6th mowing will result in a 40 dollar fee charged to the card on file.
After the 6th mowing you may cancel service at any time.
Long Grass Fee?
If the lawn is 4 inches or taller for Bermuda and Zoysia grass and for any other lawn type if it is 6 inches or taller when our crew arrives to mow your lawn, we will charge double or more depending on the height of the grass.
Really tall grass 6 inches or taller for bermuda and zoysia grasss and for any other lawn type if it is 9 inches or taller for those lawns they will be considered really overgrown and they would need to be charged at an hourly rate due to too much time being spent at the property to mow the lawn.
This also applies to clients that skip their lawn service. If the crew shows up to mow your property after you have skipped a lawn mowing and the grass is 4 inches or taller for Bermuda and Zoysia grass and for any other lawn type if it is 6 inches or taller we will charge double or more for the extra time needed to mow your lawn.
The Edging is Overgrown on my Sidewalk or Driveway
if the edging on the sidewalks or driveway has never been done to the property or it is more than 2 inches over the sidewalk or driveway line we will have to charge the lawn mowing at an hourly rate since it takes a lot of time to get the edging back to the sidewalk or driveway line.
I have pets, what do I need to know and how to deal with Pet waste?
We ask that all your pets be kept indoors and all gates unlocked on your mow day. Our crews are very careful about closing gates before they leave, but we do not guarantee that a pet will not escape from the yard, therefore, you are accepting our service with this provision. Lawn Care Solutions is not responsible for lost or injured pets.
And if there is any pet waste on the lawn it needs to be cleaned up before the crew gets there you can clean up a day before or we will not be able to service the part of the lawn with pet waste on it and if pet waste does get on our equipment we will charge a fee for the time it took us to clean it off since we can’t bring pet waste to another clients lawn or driveway.
Also if there is any pet food or water left in a bowl it needs to be removed from the porch or driveway or where ever it is at by the homeowner before the crew arrives to mow your lawn since the blowers might knock it down and the food and water will spill out while blowing those areas.
What time will the crew mow my yard?
Our Crews Work from 7:00 AM To 7:00 PM Monday through Friday, we use the weekends as makeup days in the event of rain outs. We are not able to service properties outside of those hours to remain in compliance with the City of Austin, Buda and Kyle noise ordinance. We can not guarantee a specific time that we will mow your lawn each week due to our schedule changing often with new clients.
What if I want my lawn bagged?
We can bag the grass clippings on your lawn but this is a separate service.
We charge 7 dollars per brown recyclable bag that is bagged with grass clippings.
The price is determined off the time it will take us to bag the grass clippings off the lawn and the price of the recyclable bag.
And we will put the grass clippings in brown recyclable bags and leave them on the front curb for the city to dispose of.
At what height will my lawn be mowed?
For clients who are either on the weekly or bi-weekly lawn mowing service, we mow at 2.5 inches to 3 inches depending on the grass type.
We do not mow shorter for clients who are on the bi-weekly lawn mowing service since there will be too much excess grass left on the lawn and uneven cuts.
If you would like us to mow your lawn shorter, you will need to switch over to the weekly lawn mowing service and the shortest we would mow for clients who switch over from the bi-weekly lawn mowing service to the weekly lawn mowing service is 2 inches to 2.5 inches depending on grass type.
And for clients who are already on the weekly lawn mowing service the shortest we can mow your lawn is 2 inches to 2.5 inches depending on the grass type.
Mowing During the Winter time?
During the winter time we maintain a minimum of a bi-weekly mowing scheduled. If your lawn does not grow during that time you can cancel you’re service or pause your service until the next year so we can save you a spot on our schedule.
What if there are too many leaves on my lawn?
If the crew shows up to mow your property and there are too many leaves on the lawn for the lawn to be mowed. You would first need to get a leaf removal done at you’re property and then we can mow your lawn otherwise we cannot mow your lawn due to the lawn being un-mowable.
What happens if it rains on my scheduled service day?
We mow in light rain unless it is a continuous downpour. We will pick up the schedule where we left off when the rain lets up, provided that your lawn is not overly saturated. We will utilize Saturday and possibly Sunday’s in order to complete the week’s schedule if necessary.
What happens if something is damaged on my property?
We are a licensed and insured company so if any damage occurs to your property it will be taken care of. Depending on the extent of damage we may pay to have the damage repaired or file an insurance claim.
What if I lock my gate?
If you have a lock on your gate, please have it unlocked on your mowing day.
If the gate is locked and we can only mow the front yard, you will still be charged the full amount for the lawn mowing due to time it took the crew to drive to your property and the time spent knocking on the door to see if someone could unlock the gate.
But, if you need your backyard mowed we will charge a 25 dollar return trip fee and we will come back to mow your backyard when our schedule allows us. If not, we will just mow the backyard on your next mowing date.
How we deal with items in the yard!
We trim around trampolines, playhouses, and lawn furniture. We do not move large items and appreciate you defining a border around objects to prevent any accidents. Items must be picked up from your yard on your mow day. Items may include: toys, dog bones, seasonal lawn decor, larger rocks, and hoses. These items are hazardous if hit by the mower blades and can result in serious damage to your property and our equipment, or serious injury to our crew or others.
How to prevent damage to common items in the yard.
All wiring must be protected or underground, for example A/C unit wiring, landscape lighting, electrical devices, phone and cable lines and PVC pipes, etc. We will not be responsible for damage to exposed sprinkler heads and lines, plastic landscape lighting, dog fence lines, and other items that might touch the mower blades or wheel. These items should be removed from the lawn on the day of service by the homeowner.
Protecting plants, trees, fences and other common permanent fixtures in the yard.
You should protect your plants and trees with defined borders. since line trimmers or weed-eaters rotate very fast . This can cause marks on trees, fence, posts and many other items. Our crews will work carefully to prevent any damages from occurring, but It is the homeowner’s responsibility to place a defined and protective border to prevent any damage from occurring.
